Here’s what I jotted down for components of a training and promotion program

Rob is interested in participating in hands on tech training

events, with priority on technical training, maybe more for “edge” stuff

Video – replacement for METS Opening Day

Find a way to incorporate commercial entities into training (sponsorship, encourage them to build METS support in). Sun? Tie in with tools

US Event – Beyond Opening Day

Promotion of finished items:

Documentation and any translations Redone website Video (and any translations?) Tutorials (and any translations?)

If we do an MPEG-21/DIDL-XFDU differentiation document, this work would be well-worth promoting as well.
