Minutes

1. Recruiting for the documentation sprint. No experience necessary. Helping others with their first experience. Sandbox is available future.islandora.ca
2. Video of Danny running a migration and also does a customization at the end. Youtube has removed annotations, so all the links and commands are in the video description.
3. We applied for Google Summer of Code last year, but were not successful. This is a project to get people involved with OSS projects funded by Google. We need to figure out some projects that the community needs and could get buy in for. We also need a mentor for this person and project.
   1. Jared suggests editing the RDF mapping in Drupal and that a librarian or metadata specialist would be best as a mentor, but he would certainly help. Perhaps Rosie.
4. The only audio derivatives in 7.x are MP3, should we change to AAC for CLAW. In the current (7.x) video solution pack we use AAC as the audio stream. What about WebM? Has anyone used the HTML streaming features of videojs product? No one on the call has. Consensus to start with one and expand but definitely cover AAC and MP3.
5. Nat tested this before the update hook was added. Update hooks will enable easy export of the updates to islandora_demo. Danny will test today.
6. Issue Round-up:
   1. Changes to the UrlMinter seem not to be taking effect. Jared thinks Milliner has a copy as its dependency in its /vendor. But there is not, so something else is happening. Danny also worried about the default hostname, it should the actual Drupal URI.
   2. Some way of collecting collection agreements and storing them with the data. License agreements much the same want to store it with the object it references. Just wanted to get these out for comment by the community. Perhaps using the Workflow module would get us a lot of the way there?
7. Questions?
   1. Committer's workflow can not be edited as is, we may need to switch back to Google docs.
   2. Will there be OAI-PMH support in the release. Probably not, but it will come shortly. It is on the roadmap for the CANARIE RDM project.
   3. Have setup a CLAW instance with Fedora 4, should they migrate to Fedora 5 or will there be any large changes in the near future?
