Persona #3: Jim Barnes

Jim Barnes is a 32 year old bachelor from Mobile, Alabama who was recently laid off from his job in masonry. He has a sizable amount of money in his savings account and moderately good credit so he purchased a small building on the outskirts of town with plans to open a diner. Jim is a bit of a handyman and wants to fix the place up himself.

Since the building was originally for private use, it must be retrofitted in order to adhere to the ADA standards for places of business. This includes installing a ramp and increasing the size and layout of the bathroom. Jim is excited to launch and would prefer to get everything up to code before the first inspection, but he is worried that he will forget something and be required to undergo multiple inspections, delaying the grand opening.

Jim needs a quick and simple way to refer to ADA guidelines while on the job, without having to print off a giant document or navigate the large format web page on the small screen of his smartphone.
