Welcome to the ci-fhir-stu3 wiki! This page provides an overview of current work, and provides links to pages on the principles and conventions for artefacts in this repository.
Also, see our FAQ.
We are in the process of transitioning to R4 as our primary version of FHIR - see the roadmap. A very early ci-fhir-r4 repository is now available with the beginnings of Event Summary.
Work will continue in ci-fhir-stu3 to wrap-up current implementation guides into a cleaner baseline and then frozen. All new work will be in R4.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to support exchange of shared medicines list information between healthcare providers. A shared medicines list is a list of medicines, at a point in time, that describes the medicines an individual is taking.
This implementation guide supports healthcare practitioners, including pharmacists (pharmacist shared medicines list (PSML)), in a range of healthcare settings to record the outcome of consumer consultations regarding their medicines for exchange:
- exchange of a list of current medicines
- exchange of a list of ceased medicines
- exchange of a list of current and ceased medicines
A Shared Medicines List implementation guide is released for external trial use: SML-1.2.0-2020JUL.
The profiles in this implementation guide are derived from HL7 AU Base 1.1.1 and are in transition to FHIR R4 in collaboration with HL7 Australia.
Further releases of this implementation guide are also expected to provide support for additional usage scenarios including other authoring entries.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to represent an Advance Care Planning (ACP) document, Goals of Care (GoC), or an Advance Care Custodian Record (ACDCR).
A frozen STU3 draft baseline of Advance Care Records has been created as a pre-release, found here: ACR-1.0.0-2020APR.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to represent an Event Summary (ES).
An ES is an event summary authored by a nominated provider, that contains key pieces of information about an individual’s health status and is useful to a wide range of providers in assessing individuals and delivering care.
A frozen STU3 draft baseline of Event Summary has been created as a pre-release, found here: ES-1.0.0-2020FEB.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to represent a Shared Health Summary (SHS).
A SHS is a health summary authored by a nominated provider, that contains key pieces of information about an individual’s health status and is useful to a wide range of providers in assessing individuals and delivering care.
A frozen STU3 draft baseline of Shared Health Summary has been created as a pre-release, found here: SHS-1.0.0-2020MAR.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to support exchange of prescription / dispense lists as a supported medicines list:
- exchange of a list of prescriptions
- exchange of a list of dispense records
- exchange of a list of prescriptions and dispense records
A frozen STU3 draft baseline of Prescription and Dispense Record Lists has been created as a pre-release, found here: PDL-1.0.0-2020MAR.
Australian realm implementation guide of the HL7TM FHIR® specification to represent a Person Health Summary (PHS) and a Personal Health Note (PHN).
A PHS is a healthcare summary about the individual's allergies and medications which is recorded by the patient or their authorised representative within the system.
A PHN is narratives about the patient's healthcare information recorded by the patient or their authorised representative within the system. This helps the patient or their authorised representative to keep track of patient health information within the system.
A frozen STU3 draft baseline of Personal Health Records has been created as a pre-release, found here: PHR-1.0.0-2020APR.
