Minutes

We started with an informal lecture on some topics in GAP, to help Isabella integrate her code into Digraphs. Michael went to the whiteboard and covered:

  • Attribute, Operations and Properties
  • Package structure in GAP
  • Location of files in the Digraphs package
  • Github and version control

Michael floated around and helped everyone with technical problems, for example, helping Luke to rebase some code, and updating Isabella's installation of Digraphs to a Git version from Mercurial.

Meanwhile, we all worked on our individual tasks:

  • Chris Russell -- Profiling E-unitary inverse semigroups code
  • Fernando Flores Brito -- Reading about congruences on completely 0-simple semigroups
  • Isabella Scott -- IsMatching function for Digraphs
  • Luke Elliott -- Undirected trees in Digraphs
  • Michael Torpey -- Classifying congruences of the Motzkin monoid

The meeting ended at 17:10.
