Factory Calibration Attributes

NI 5601

NIRFSA_ATTR_CAL_RF_PATH_SELECTION

Description

Specifies the RF path to use during calibration. This attribute is valid only during a calibration session. When you set this attribute, NI-RFSA does not select the RF path based on the downconverter center frequency.

The following table lists the RF bands used by the supported devices.

Description

Specifies the RF path to use during calibration. This attribute is valid only during a calibration session. When you set this attribute, NI-RFSA does not select the RF path based on the downconverter center frequency.

Description

Selects the value of RF electronic attenuation from a table of valid configurations. This attribute is valid only during a calibration session and when you set the NIRFSA_ATTR_CAL_RF_PATH_SELECTION attribute to NIRFSA_ATTR_VAL_EXT_CAL_RF_BAND_1.

Default Value: N/A

Supported Devices: PXIe-5603/5605/5606

Description

Specifies the IF filter path during calibration. The attribute is valid only during a calibration session.

Defined Values:

NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_1 (2100)    Specifies that the 5 MHz filter path is used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_2 (2101) Specifies that the 300 kHz filter path is used during calibration. Not supported for the PXIe-5694.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_3 (2102) None of the IF filter paths are used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_4 (2103) Specifies that the 20 MHz filter path is used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_5 (2104) Specifies that the 1.4 MHz filter path is used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_6 (2105) Specifies that the 400 kHz filter path is used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_7 (2106) Specifies that the 110 kHz filter path is used during calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_8 (2107) Specifies that the 30 kHz filter path is used during calibration.

Description

Specifies the IF attenuation table to be used for external calibration. This attribute is valid only in a calibration session.

Defined Values:

NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_ATTENUATION_TABLE_STANDARD (2900)    Specifies that the standard IF attenuation table is used for the external calibration.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_ATTENUATION_TABLE_ACPR (2901) Specifies that the adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) IF attenuation table is used for the external calibration. You can only select this value if you set the NIRFSA_ATTR_CAL_IF_FILTER_SELECTION attribute to NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_1 or NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_FILTER_PATH_2.
Default Value: NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_IF_ATTENUATION_TABLE_STANDARD

Description

Specifies the IF attenuation index from a table of valid settings. To select a correct attenuation table, set this attribute in conjunction with the NIRFSA_ATTR_CAL_IF_FILTER_SELECTION attribute. This attribute is valid only during a calibration session.

Valid Values: 0 to 25

Default Value: 0

Supported Devices: PXIe-5694

NIRFSA_ATTR_CAL_LO_PATH_SELECTION

Description

Selects the LO signal path used during calibration. During noncalibration sessions, NI-RFSA implicitly derives the LO signal path from the center frequency. During calibration sessions, you must explicitly specify the LO signal path. This attribute is valid only during a calibration session.

Defined Values:

NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_1 (2300)    Specifies that the LO path 1 is used.    
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_2 (2301) Specifies that the LO path 2 is used.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_3 (2302) Specifies that the LO path 3 is used.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_4 (2303) Specifies that the LO path 4 is used.
NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_5 (2304) Specifies that the LO path 5 is used.
Default Value: NIRFSA_VAL_EXT_CAL_LO_PATH_1
