Version 3 introduces a plethora of new features to be excited about! It was my mission to improve user friendliness with the release of Version 3, and I was able to do just that.
Major Changes
- A brand new interface was introduced along with a color scheme that helps direct the user's attention to important buttons and labels.
- Log entries are shown in a tabular format and can be edited or deleted from within the application as opposed to opening a separate text file. These log entries can also be exported, in the form of a table, to a PDF.
- New metrics can be seen in the form of bar charts and pie charts. These metrics report the number and frequency that a user has worked: for a specific company, at a certain location, and under a particular supervisor.
- Backups of the database can be created for the user to store on an external device or on the cloud. These backups contain all log entries, locations, companies, and supervisors. Backups can later be imported at any point in the future - fully restoring the previous state of the database.
