Trouble With Admin Views Access

In the event that a Forest Service employee reaches out to us because they are having trouble viewing or accessing any page on Open Forest designated for Administrators, we can use the following template as a guide to begin the process of troubleshooting the issue.


Hi NAME,

My name is ______ from the Open Forest Customer Support Staff and I'm responding to your email indicating you're having trouble accessing parts of Open Forest requiring admin privileges. Because you should already have admin rights, I would ask you to do the following:

  1. Make sure you're accessing Open Forest through your google chrome browser as the application is designed to work best with that browser.

  2. If the problem persists, please verify with the eAuth help desk that you have level 2 permissions on your eAuth account. Though you may have been granted admin access to the Open Forest application, admin privileges cannot be accessed by those individuals with level 1 eAuth permissions.

If you're still having problems after following those step, or if you would like any further assistance with those steps (or anything else), please feel free to reach out to us again.
