Slides: Annotating Aristophanes and Ovid

Summary

The Sunoikisis DC Zagreb team will report on how we spent this semester reading Aristophanes' Birds (in Greek) and Ovid's Metamorphoses 1 (in Latin) and annotating people and places in these texts using the Recogito platform. Works of fiction offer special challenges to identifying and categorizing people and places; each challenge is also an invitation to read the text closer, and to approach it in a different way.
