Minutes

David & Gregory:

• We are off and running with Geoconex.us
• Focused on building PID’s (Persistent Identifiers) - redirecting to evolving landing pages
• Establishing linked data content on an as required bases
• Seeing engagement, people using PID’s for linked data
• Also deployed (working with internet of water team - Duke Univ.) pygeoapi for landing pages
• Adding JSON-LD to support to pygeoapi (via PR)
• Landing pages are now pointing to PID’s in PID server (https://github.com/internetofwater/geoconnex.us)
• Next steps: semantic layer, maybe using a plugin alongside pygeoapi (RDF/graph store)
• NOTE: USGS node is back up at https://cida-test.er.usgs.gov/chyld-pilot/app/index.html

Eric:

• We should look at Gregory’s work for the UX
• GSIP now runs on AWS Fargate
• In the process of getting it deployed
• Some minor UX edits

Joost:

• Waiting on the USGS node to be back up to continue work on harvester - it's back up now
