Project Goals & Objectives
High-level Goals
- Link water data (i.e. hydrometric stations, wells, aquifers)
- Platform for "Internet of Water" prototype
- Cross border linkages (US & Canada)
- Linking hydrologic features (defined in CHyF) to the hydrometric stations etc.
- Linking all features across the border
2019 Objectives
- Expansion of geographic area outside of the Richelieu (Great Lakes for example or BC)
- Tools (improve landing page for features, application prototype, etc.)
- maintaining linkages (automated ingest/harvest cross border repositories)
- user-centred design for landing pages
- common ontology/vocabulary (e.g. HY_Features)
- Establish a dialogue with other communities (e.g. fisheries)
- Develop additional use cases
