Meet to discuss the potential for collaboration on a shared code-base for a next-generation platform for linked-data.
- Updates on current development progress (USGS/NRCan)

- USGS has deployment environment now (production - cloud-native, a subset of AWS services)
- USGS looking to get OGC Open API for Features out before FYE (October)
- USGS will begin exploring OGC Open API integrations with existing back-end in the fall
- NRCan has done some exploration of alternate technologies over the summer
- NRCan has a hard deliverable for FYE (March 31st, 2019) - demonstrate cross-border integration
- NRCan, while currently working in Java, is willing to work in Python. No preference for database/triplestore
- USGS working with Flask/Python and Spring with PostGreSQL for API/backend
- Both parties working with Docker
- While serverless technology is of interest, it was agreed that only vendor-neutral options will be explored
- Will work off of a common set of requirements described as high-level user-stories
- Will work through a shared code-base hosted on Github
- Will mutually tailor technology choices to ensure compatibility
- SPARQL - we need to know if this required. - DONE (issue added to repo)
- Poke Tom K. on extension for JSON-LD - DONE (Oct. 31, 2019)
- Jim K. to create shared Git repo - everyone to send Jim git username - DONE
- Eric and Joost to get started on core user stories and document in shared Git repo - DONE
