I simply rebased #1992 - as I mentioned there, I think it's important enough that this is published for those who haven't been able to upgrade yet.

We are in progress with Netlify to make older docs available under subdomains and potentially switching between versions via dropdown triggering a redirect e.g. v3.webpack.js.org and webpack.js.org for the latest release.

I also feel like v3 build might require a separate yarn/npm install no? We might have went way too far with some changes and deps here, have tried it locally and could browse everything for /v3/* using local serve?

This needs to wait until rebuild is done.

Meanwhile, clone the repo and build it using fix/v3-docs branch.

@EugeneHlushko It works without problem, I make sure of that, as you can see in the script, it checkouts the branch, build it and copy dist folder.
