Terms of Service

Usage Agreement

Barricade is a centralized tool to combat problematic players of the game Hell Let Loose. It consists of the Discord Bot Barricade#7360 (Unique Discord user ID 1190718626286813244. Hereby referred to as "bot") and a REST API ("API"). The bot and API may collectively be referred to as "service".

Discord users can request access to the service by interacting with the bot in a centralized Discord server ("hosting Discord").

By requesting access to use the service, by being granted access to the service, or by using its features, you ("community admin") agree to the below listed Terms of Service ("terms") and Privacy Policy ("policy").

You may invite the bot to a server you have sufficient permissions in and use its sets of features on any server you share with it. This privilege can be revoked, the bot be removed, and you be removed from the hosting Discord at any time, should you violate these terms and/or policy, the Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policy of Discord Inc., or their Community Guidelines.

By using any of the service's features, you agree to share data as described in Barricade's policy. The intended use of this data is described in said policy.

Intended Age

Individuals of minimal age required to use Discord, as described in their Terms of Service may use the bot and its features.

Affiliation

Barricade is not affiliated with, supported, or made by Discord Inc., and Team17 Group plc. Any direct connection to Discord and Team17 or any of its Trademark objects is purely coincidental. I do not have nor claim to have the copyright ownership of any of their assets, trademarks (including Hell Let Loose) or other intellectual property.

Liability

I am not liable for any damage caused by the service, or as a consequence of using the service.

I reserve the right to update these Terms and policy at my own discretion. You may opt out of these terms and policy by disabling all active integrations, removing the bot from any server you have permission in, giving up or transferring your community admin role, and no longer using of any of its features.

Privacy Policy

Usage of Data

The service is permitted to collect and store any data sent to it by users. The service may use stored data for different features including but not limited to community admin management, maintaining a library of reports, and interacting with external services to ban and unban players. No usage of data outside of the aforementioned cases will happen. No sensitive data is shared with any 3rd-party site or service. Stored data includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Community RCON credentials (address, access token)
  • Battlemetrics RCON credentials (access token)
  • Discord user IDs of community admins
  • Discord message IDs of messages sent by the bot
  • Any data submitted via reports

Stored Information

The bot does not automatically store any information when being invited to a new Discord Server.

Updating Data

Data may be updated when using specific features of the bot. Some of these updates may include data that can be seen as sensitive. All such updates require explicit confirmation from the user. This data is only kept in the database and is only used for its intended purpose.

Removal of Data

Stored Data may be removed manually through the respective interfaces provided by the service.

Manual removal

Manual removal of Stored Data can be requested by reaching out. Note that while not all can be removed due to integrity constraints, it can however be anonymized. Get in contact for more information.
