Description

Introduction to genome assembly with verkko. By the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Understand verkko steps
  • Run verkko
  • Inspect logging output as it runs
  • Get familiarized with assembly outputs

Prerequisites

  1. Understanding of linux command line basics
  2. Understanding of assembly and genome-related terminology (N50, contig, scaffold, phasing, reads).
