By the way, there is a logo which can be seen on the website (done via stylesheet): https://awesome-veganism.com/ |
Thanks for making an Awesome list! 🙌 It looks like you didn't read the guidelines closely enough. I noticed multiple things that are not followed. Try going through the list point for point to ensure you follow it. I spent a lot of time creating the guidelines so I wouldn't have to comment on common mistakes, and rather spend my time improving Awesome. |
Since I've been through the list probably 10+ times by now, I do need some pointers to fix anything that's left :-). |
Oh my... how did I miss the PR title... my bad, fixed. |
Interesting list but the restaurants and bakeries list is not yet large enough to be very useful for everyone. |
I'm vegan for around 4 years, it's awesome, but How you organize per country/city? maybe group by them. |
Hello folks, Regards. |
Right, that is a good point. Maybe a separate section? There are some other entries in the "Miscellaneous" section that could qualify for a new "Lifestyle" section as well, like for example "awesome-food", "awesome-mental-health", and "awesome-earth". |
For me this awesome respects all the guidelines, also verified with awesome-lint. |
I would have like to see more blog posts / articles / videos / discussion forums / reddit / etc about veganism, not just vegan items. |
Thanks for the feedback! Made corresponding changes, and started adding more informational resources as requested in the last comment, and more will follow. |

This list contains entries to make veganism easy and accessible to everyone who is interested. There are many rather random, unmoderated, or unmaintained lists created by individuals or companies, with sometimes questionable quality. This list is an attempt to create a community driven approach to guarantee no-nonsense content, 100% aligned with the life-style, in order to minimise the effort needed for an awesome experience.
By submitting this pull request I confirm I've read and complied with the below requirements 🖖
Please read it multiple times. I spent a lot of time on these guidelines and most people miss a lot.
Requirements for your pull request
Try to prioritize unreviewed PRs, but you can also add more comments to reviewed PRs. Go through the below list when reviewing. This requirement is meant to help make the Awesome project self-sustaining. Comment here which PRs you reviewed. You're expected to put a good effort into this and to be thorough. Look at previous PR reviews for inspiration. Just commenting “looks good” or simply marking the pull request as approved does not count! You have to actually point out mistakes or improvement suggestions.
