Adding OpenCore entry to UEFI Boot

In case you need to add an OpenCore entry to the UEFI Boot menu, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Boot to Windows and mount/access your EFI partition
  2. Download BOOTICE (by Pauly) from my local repository
  3. Unzip it, select the x64 version and run it with administrator privileges
  4. Select the UEFI tab, and click Edit boot entries:

  1. Create a new boot entry selecting Add in the left-side menu and point it in the new file browser to OpenCore.efi in the OC folder on the EFI partion

  1. Now the Media file entry is filled with \EFI\OC\OpenCore.efi
  2. Edit the Menu title entry with OpenCore and then click on Save current boot entry button saving changes

  1. Click Up in the left-side menu to move the new entry to the top, and then close the window (Close button)

  1. You will now have both OpenCore and Windows Boot Manager on the F12 Menu.
