You should also support 7z files.

instead of of supporting zip files (there are so many archive formats), why not have the manifest/winget have install script / uninstall scripts. that opens the door for zips, rar, 7z, fonts, or just arbitrary scripts that configure windows even.

Please, you need to provide this feature because essential packages for web development are .zip such as PHP and nginx.

I'm doing a little "clean-up". I'm going to go ahead and close this Issue. I believe most people are now aware of the difference between https://github.com/microsoft/winget-pkgs and https://github.com/microsoft/winget-cli.
