Is any feature we need from cmake 3.9? or some warning? |
@yhmtsai In our main CMakeLists.txt, we use 3.9, so I wanted to unify the version numbers. The issue is that 2.8 support will soon be deprecated, so specifying such an old version leads to a warning. |

LGTM. You are right, we also mention the cmake 3.9+ requirement in the README.md

Release 1.3.0 of Ginkgo. The Ginkgo team is proud to announce the new minor release of Ginkgo version 1.3.0. This release brings CUDA 11 support, changes the default C++ standard to be C++14 instead of C++11, adds a new Diagonal matrix format and capacity for diagonal extraction, significantly improves the CMake configuration output format, adds the Ginkgo paper which got accepted into the Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS), and fixes multiple issues. This PR fixes a few warning that the latest CMake versions output:
The CMP0104 policy concerns CUDA architectures, we may want to move this to CAS, but I wasn't sure whether this is worth the effort.
