Org Overview

The Org Overview page, available from the sidebar menu and after launching Iora Lite, provides you with an overview assessment of your org.

Org Overview page

The top of the page shows information about the set of components that Iora Lite retrieved for this session. The set of collected components can vary for each session, given that Iora Lite samples data in your org each time you start a new session.

Use the features of the Org Overview page to drill down into components that you want to tune. For example:

  • Click on the legend items in either chart to show/hide components with specific design or scalability dimensions.
  • Click on a bar in either chart to load details about the components that correspond to the bar you click on.

Assessment Definitions

Iora Lite assesses the design and scalability of both dashboards and reports. Here's a quick definition of each dimension, starting with reports.

  • A report's design can be either optimal or suboptimal. An optimal report executes using a selective, indexed filter condition--otherwise, it is a suboptimal report. Generally speaking, optimal reports execute faster than suboptimal reports--but ...
  • A report's scalability can range from OK, Warning, or Critical, based on the number of records that the report targets. The more records the report targets, whether it is optimal or suboptimal, the less scalable the report becomes and the longer it takes to execute.

In summary, it best to make a report design optimal and target the fewest possible records.

Iora Lite bases a dashboard's assessments on the worst report component in the dashboard. For example, when dashboard contains a suboptimal/critical report, the dashboard has the same assessment ratings.

Use the following matrix chart to help you decide which dashboards and reports to tune first.
