Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Ketcher
  2. Paste this structure:

  1. Select 'Bn' from the 'Custom Templates' -> 'Functional Groups' list, and click on the methyl group
  2. Look to the bond between two Functional Group abbreviations
    Note: If you expand the abbreviations, then the bond is in place. The bond disappears only when the abbreviations are collapsed. Visual problem.

Actual behavior
The bond between two Functional Group abbreviations dissapears

Expected behavior
The bond between two Functional Group abbreviations does not disappear

reproduced in v2.7.0-rc.9, moving this to v2.9.0-rc.1

I guess this bug will be fixed in scope of #2269

This issue is reproduced in v2.8.0-rc.4, but on master branch it has been fixed in scope of #1990
