@cmsbuild, please test

setup.get<RPCMaskedStripsRcd>().get(readoutMaskedStrips);
const RPCMaskedStrips* tmp_obj = readoutMaskedStrips.product();
theRPCMaskedStripsObj->MaskVec = tmp_obj->MaskVec;
delete tmp_obj;

I wonder how this piece has ever worked, because the delete should lead two double-delete as framework owns the object pointed-to by ESHandle (and ESHandle::product()).

Now there are merge conflicts, assuming they are caused by #34919 I need to wait for the next IB.

+reconstruction

for #34945 f546286

  • code changes are in line with the PR description/title
  • jenkins tests pass and comparisons with the baseline show no relevant differences (all diffs are in 140.53, which had a das glitch)

This pull request is fully signed and it will be integrated in one of the next master IBs (tests are also fine). This pull request will now be reviewed by the release team before it's merged. @perrotta, @dpiparo, @qliphy (and backports should be raised in the release meeting by the corresponding L2)
