What happened:
When trying to create a cluster from my mac running Docker Desktop 4.3.0, the bootstrap cluster is not able to successfully launch. This is due to recently change in Docker 4.3 which requires containers running systemd to be running a version which supports cgroups v2. The eks-a kind image is based on AL2 which does not have a version of systemd with support for cgroupv2.
There is currently no workaround. What you expected to happen:
How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
Anything else we need to know?:
Environment:
EKS Anywhere Release:
EKS Distro Release:
