If you're just getting started with your Trident build, the files attached to this release contain the most up-to-date parts required for your Voron 3D printer. If you are currently building, or have already built your Trident, please check the list of fixes and updates below and determine whether you need to update your printer accordingly.

The following fixes and updates have been made since the previous release:

  • Revised front idlers with tensioning screws moved to be inline with the idler pulleys. Inspiration for this modification taken from V2.4 Github issue - posted by chrisingham05
  • Updated z_bed_*.stl files to increase max Z travel by 3mm.
  • All unsupported countersunk bolt holes changed to using the cross-bridge method instead of a chamfer. (AB Stepper mounts, XY Joints and Panel Clips included in this update)
  • Updated skirt fan mounts using M3 screws and heatsets to mount the fans and fan blanks. Inspiration for the heatset mounting method taken from Ali Express vendor.
  • Updated Afterburner related files correcting issues with heatset insert hole sizes
  • Added mounts for using Wago connectors for the mains and bed wiring.
  • Added an exhaust filter fan grill to correct spacing for the fan mounting screws
  • Included zip tie anchors for when using 3 hole style cable chains without integrated wire anchor tabs.
  • Updated XY endstop pod compatible with both independent and PCB mounted D2F microswitches.
  • Fixed issue #57 (Spider v2.2 controller mounts interfering with underboard fuse)
  • Fixed issue #62 (heatset insert location on front skirt)
  • Updated assembly manual.
