GitHub plugin
The GitHub plugin provides access to the following Azure DevOps resources:
- Gists.
- Issues.
- Pull Requests.
- Repositories.
- Users.
Use the configuration screen to setup GitHub environments.
You can setup connections to multiple environments if you have access to more than one.
Click Add to add a new connection.
To setup a GitHub account, you just need to provide a name. The name is used to disambiguate multiple environments. It'll be appended to the search category, e.g. "GitHub Issue (pvginkel)". This is only done if you have access to more than one environment.
When you start a search, you'll be asked to authenticate with GitHub. The following screen will pop up:
Click OK to enter your credentials. Note that if you have access to more than one GitHub environment, that you enter the right credentials. The following page will open in the browser:
Decide which organizations you want to give TQL access to if you have any that require you to grant access. Then, scroll down and click Authorize (yourself):
