Header Search Bar Font Size Differs Among Subsites

Overview

On Frontera (Pprd, Dev), CMS (and User Guide) search bar text is small, but Portal search bar text is large.

On Core (Dev), CMS search bar text is very small, but Portal search bar text is large.

On Core (Prod), CMS and Portal search bar text are large.

Background

The difference was once solved, but the fix (Frontera-specific styles) are not applied because of bug #223.

Prerequisites

1. Have a CMS with a Portal.¹
2. Have a CMS page that loads a Frontera template (ex: fullwidth.html, home.html).
3. Be logged into Portal.

Steps

1. Load CMS page.
2. Check font size of header search button and search field.
3. Load Portal page. Load Docs page.

Expected Result

• On Portal, header search button and search field are the same size as CMS.
• On Docs, header search button and search field are the same size as CMS.

Actual Result

• On Portal, header search button and search field are not the same size as CMS.
• On Docs, header search button and search field are not the same size as CMS.
