This tab controls elements of the Randomisation process that affect the scene lua binaries (.lub). These files control how lighting and other visual elements appear.

Randomise Ambient Light

Randomises the Red, Green and Blue colours of the ambient lighting, along with it's power modifier. This lighting value tends to affect how shadows appear and are colourised in this.

Randomise Main Light

Randomises the Red, Green and Blue colours of the main lighting, along with it's power modifier. This lighting value acts as the sun and illuminates the whole scene.

Randomise Sub Light

Randomises the Red, Green and Blue colours of the main lighting, along with it's power modifier. This lighting value tends to be used for extra lighting details, often to add extra subtle lighting to the bottom of a character.

All three Light Colour Randomisers can be influenced through the Minimum Value Numerical Selector below this option, this controls overall brightness, as lighting values in '06 are a decimal number between 0 and 1. This selector enforces a minimum value that the number must exceed before it can be selected for use.

Randomise Light Direction

Randomises the direction that lights are cast from, affecting how the scene is illuminated and how the shadows appear.

Enforce Light Above

This option can only be selected when Randomise Light Direction is enabled, and simply ensures that the light is always above the player so that the scene is not illuminated from below.

Randomise Fog Colour

Randomises the Red, Green and Blue colours of the scene's fog.

Randomise Fog Density

This option is not recommended to be enabled due to how sensitive these values are

Randomises the density (or thickness) of the scene's fog. Due to how these values work, they need to be very small floating point numbers; this can frequently lead to incredibly thick and bright fog, especially when paired with the Randomise Fog Colour option.

Randomise Environment Maps

Randomises the scene's Environment Map (often referred to as a Cubemap), these are simple six sided textures that act as reflections to cast onto shiny surfaces. The available cubemaps can be configured in the list in the first tab of the sub box to the right.

Randomise Skyboxes

Randomises the sky that will be drawn in a stage. The available skyboxes can be configured in the list in the second tab of the sub box to the right.

Disable Bloom

Sets all the scene lua bloom scales to 0, preventing the bloom value from massively washing scenes out and obscuring visuals.
