The API uses a pre-trained Hugging Face Transformer model, specifically the distilbert-base-multilingual-cased-sentiments-student model, which is containerized using Docker for easy deployment and scalability.
Analyzed public sentiment and topics concerning COVID-19 on Twitter to understand public reactions during the pandemic. Used Python with libraries like pandas, numpy, nltk, and gensim for data manipulation and NLP tasks. Sentiment analysis was performed using TextBlob, and topic modeling was conducted using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) with gensim.
Demonstrated object detection on images and videos using YOLOv8 with the Ultralytics implementation, detecting objects such as cars, trucks, and traffic lights. Utilized PyTorch and OpenCV for video processing and Matplotlib for visualization of detection results.
