CraftBook (Lifts, Bridges, Gates, Doors, ICs,...)
CraftBook is a plugin which helps create automated things in Minecraft which would otherwise only be possible with a lot of redstone, pistons and so on. It allows for the simplest lifts possible and much more.
The one you'll probably love and use the most are lifts. Simply put you place down two signs with either [Lift Up]
or [Lift Down]
above each other and as soon as you right click one it'll teleport you. Whatever you put in the first line will be the floor's name.
But wait, there's more... you can also do destination-only signs. Only putting [Lift]
on the second line lets you teleport to that sign but not away from it, it's basically a one-way ticket.
Bridges are almost as simple as lifts, you create a rectangular bridge, put two signs with [Bridge]
on the second line facing each other on both ends of the bridge (either on the blocks or below them) and right click it which toggles the bridge. Bridges are limited to the following blocks: Planks, slabs, cobblestone and glass.
You have to use only one type of block for a bridge and may not mix them. If you want any other blocks added, please ask an admin about it. Bridge signs can also be placed beneath or on the side of the bridge and hooked up to redstone so the whole contraption's hidden but the sign always has to be in the center of the bridge!
You know those small wooden gates in Minecraft that are often hard to reach from a horse and you sometimes want something a little bigger? Then gates are for you!
Create a door made out of fences, iron bars or glass panes (only one kind per gate) and put a sign with [Gate] on its second line next to, beneath or above it. Gates can also be triggered with redstone.
Doors are like gates with solid blocks or upwards bridges. They need a sign with [Door Up] beneath and [Door Up] above them or just [Door] if you want to disable the usage from that sign. Doors can be made out of stone, dirt, cobblestone, wood, log, glass, wool, double stone slabs, stone slabs, brick, bookshelves, snow blocks, or clay blocks.
Right clicking a lapis block while sneaking drops XP bottles (Bottle o' Enchanting) based on your levels. It will use up all levels you currently have and using the newly gained bottles would give you back about 50% of your spent levels. It's just a way of storing your levels for later uses and if you fear dying.
Integrated circuits are redstone components that make difficult redstone contraptions easier, often smaller and more accessible to other people. There's a demonstration of them all at "/warp redstonemuseum" and it also shows which ICs are allowed to normal players and which ones aren't. It's important to know that you can search for ICs with "/ic search " for example "/ic search clock" and then check the documentation for a specific IC by using "/ic docs " for example "/ic docs 1421".
