fileformat (inputinformation)

This character variable specifies the file format for the input group inputinformation. The variable has up to 256 characters. List-directed input is used if '*', the default value, is the value of fileformat. Each record includes the K elements of and the K by K array . In listeningb.txt, this variable is '*', so that input is list-directed.
