Welcome to the MIRT wiki. This site is under construction, so not all elements are fully functional yet.

These pages describe how to specify control files in a browsable fashion. However, the descriptions here can also be found in the program manual. The referenced examples can be found here. The most basic example input file is listening.txt.

There are 17 input groups that are necessary to run the program and 34 additional input groups that are optional. Each input group deals with different aspects of the program such as reading the data from a file, specifying the MIRT model, setting parameters of the estimation algorithm, and requesting additional output. The following input group names are used. They are arranged in the order they appear in the control file. The input group names in italics are optional.
