Summary

Mods "[Xedra Evolved] More seasonal magic"

Purpose of change

The first PR had a ton of lines taken up with the system for gaining spells, so I only added a few spells for each season. However, a lot of things rely on how many spells per season you know, so each season needs more spells.

Describe the solution

Add the following spells:

SPRING

  1. Tier 3: Viridian Cuirass (adds the Plant barkskin and Arvore moss traits temporarily, reduces cold damage and increases cold temperatures tolerance. No protection from cold in autumn).
  2. Tier 4: New Growth (greatly speeds healing rate and the mending of broken limbs, as long as the target stays outside. Rate reduced on autumn)
  3. Tier 5: Rejuvenating Rains (while outdoors, cause a rain to fall. You and your allies will heal much faster and cure various debilitating effects as long as you remain out in the rain]. Does not work if the temperature is below zero)

SUMMER

  1. Tier 1: Quick-Kindle (start a fire. Chance to fail in winter)
  2. Tier 2: Salmon’s Leap (Jump a distance. Jump further in summer)
  3. Tier 3: Outracing the Sun (after using the glamour, begin running. As long as you only run and don’t stop, you will never run out of breath)
  4. Tier 5: Helios’s Wrath (Blaze with extremely bright light, blinding anyone who looks at you. This is real sunlight and harms supernatural creatures appropriately).

AUTUMN

  1. Tier 3: Swirl of Autumn Leaves (surround yourself with a chill autumn wind filled with leaves, giving ranged attacks a chance to miss. In autumn, if you’re outdoors, also makes you harder to see)
  2. Tier 4: Fog of Folly (blanket an area with fog. Targets caught within will wander in confusion [blind, deaf, and briefly stunned ] for the glamour’s duration. If they wander out of the fog, the effects fade. Note that the fog causes the effects—don’t enter it yourself thinking they’ll be easy prey)

WINTER

  1. Tier 1: Footsteps in the Snow (move in almost complete silence. In winter, move in complete silence)
  2. Tier 2: Stillness of the Tomb (appear dead to all nearby creatures, who will ignore you. The effects ends prematurely if you move, attack, or use another glamour).
  3. Tier 3: The Frozen Heart (Remove all positive and negative morale effects, add the Uncaring trait for a short time)
  4. Tier 4: Tears of the Cailleach (drop ice and hail on targets outdoors, doing damage and leaving behind an icy field that makes slipping easy. No icy field is left behind in summer)

Tested the following glamours and they work: Viridian Cuirass, New Growth, Quick-Kindle, Salmon’s Leap, Outracing the Sun, Footsteps in the Snow
