emulationstation menu is broken on reboot. #15
Comments
Do you have a joystick connected/have you ever? The "menu" button might've gotten mapped to something weird. Try deleting ~/.emulationstation/es_input.cfg. Do you see the normal game list behind the menu (e.g. a black bar, maybe the system name header)? (F1 is the keyboard mapping for the "menu" button, and pressing it again should close the menu, so this is weird!) |
There is a regular game menu in the background, scrolling through all of my games. I'll try deleting the es_input.cfg when I get home. Thanks for the speedy reply ^.^ |
Woah, that's really strange, you shouldn't be able to scroll the gamelist while the menu is open...huh. I can't make any fixes right away (I'm currently in the midst of rewriting the renderer which has broken a lot of things on my copy), but I'll look into it. Let me know if deleting es_input.cfg fixes it. |
Derp, turns out it was my mouse: Microsoft Sidewinder. |
Update emulationstation2.po
If I reboot the board after the first run of emulationstation, upon my next load of emulation station I am presented with a menu that gives me the options only to shutdown or restart the board. I have done several reloads, and run into the issue every time.
Using on Raspbian, tried F1 command with no luck. I'm stuck in the reboot/shutdown menu.
