Point Bank
This page is up-to-date as of Parallax version 0.28.2
The Point Bank is a simple tool for storing the coordinate values of points in space. It is accessed via the Tools menu:
Main Window > Tools > Point Bank
To add a new point manually, right-click in the blank space and select "New":
This opens the Point Editor, where you can set the name, coordinate system, and XYZ coordinates of the point you want to save. The name and coordinate system are filled in with prescribed values (names are randomly given unique default values in case you don't care to track them). Click "OK" to add the point to the list.
Points in the Point Bank can be edited or deleted (via right-click menu) or re-ordered (via click-and-drag).
The Point Bank supports drag-and-drop coordinates, so you can transfer points to/from the Stage Control Panels, the Calibration Panel, etc.
Points in the Point Bank can be saved or loaded (as Python pickle files) with the Save and Load buttons.
