Task 1 Project Management (milestone)

• Discuss Phase 6 scoping and ranking here
  • Sorted Features Ranking tab includes the latest prioritization
  • Will include maintenance and support even though ranked low
  • Telecommute model may be built in cooperation with SEMCOG project
  • Targeting ~$240k, which does not include AMPO admin, marketing, and contingent
  • Several tasks - such as build a freight model - were revised to a review and design task to be more phased and more likely to get funded in this round
  • Roll leaner pipeline into visualization and reporting task; lots can be done to write out better/smarter initial files for users
  • Split visualizer into reporting improvements and online visualization
  • The vehicle type model task labels household vehicles with existing types - regular, EV, truck, etc. but not AV since AVs don't yet exist. It doesn't add tracking of explicit vehicles through the downstream models.
  • @Everyone - point-of-contact for each task to better refine the description for scoping and LOE estimate by next call
• Fixed TravisCI so test system works again since GitHub migrated to a new TravisCI setup
• Pulled some small fixes for SEMCOG in this PR
  • Joe/SFCTA: Looks like this PR was submitted and accepted in ~1 day, without any discussion with project management committee. Should even small PRs like this be mentioned to PMC (even if as consent item) prior to accepting?
• The Berkeley/LBL BEAM project is now running ActivitySim for Austin. I suggested they share their work with the team once they are ready.

Task 6 Model Developer Tutorial (milestone)

• Continued work on the Jupyter notebook recipes

Task 9 Estimation Mode (milestone)

• All tour models updated, see estimation example setting.yaml
• Need to improve example distribution since estimation needs a bigger example than the mini example in order to produce reasonable estimates.
• We're thinking the cli can get example data from a new activitysim data repo (as opposed to manually from the mtc box account)
• Need to update example notebooks to run the EDB creation code
• Need to add formal tests and user documentation

Task 3 Two Zones (milestone)

• Created example test data to start with
• Starting to work on this task now
