- MOU
- We need to streamline the process of adding new members
- Current MOU through 2021
- @RSG to write an updated good faith effort related to DBE
- @Bill to see if we can amend the MOU so only new members need to sign when adding a new member?
- @Bill to see if Planning Directors can sign instead of Agency Directors?
- Work orders
- Agreed to standardize on 12 month work orders from June to June
- In April, we set the upcoming work order amount based on the funds in the bank
- If a partner joins (or funds) after April, then the funds go in the bank for next year's work order
- We'll establish a bit of a funding buffer so agency payment schedule is not so closely tied to work order execution
- @Ben/Bill/Joe add language to the Governance page once finalized
- Potential new agency partners
- We plan to soft market to new members now, including as part of the TRB Planning Applications workshop
- @Joe to talk with interested Oregon partners
- @Bill to look into accepting international payment
- @Sarah to talk with MetCouncil
- @Bill to follow-up with WashCOG and MAG
- Ohio DOT and Florida DOT & MPOs interested as well
- Other
- There is some interest for a smaller / simpler ABM, but let's get the current TM1 example done first
- There is also some interest in research/teaching with ActivitySim, for example with FHWA and Univ Kentucky
- We believe Zephyr has a complementary mission and there is no need to formalize a relationship at this point. We will likely seek a Zephyr software quality badge once that program gets off the ground.
- @Bill to work on a glossy card / leave-behind for marketing at the May AMPO event and June TRB PA workshop
- Existing work order through June 2019 has the following tasks:
- Verification
- Two zone systems
- ARC/SANDAG assistance
- Verification is now very important, especially for the upcoming TRB PA workshop, so that's the highest priority and may require reallocating funds from other tasks depending on how it goes
- @Lisa to send latest complete TM1 example so we can run and compare results to asim
- We will recreate asim inputs with Lisa's example so we're using the same data
- We will review UECs/expressions, compare each submodel results, and trace results for a HH as well
- We will investigate the shadow pricing results a bit more once we get the TM1 setup up and running
- We should spend more time on the user's guide, especially for the TRB PA workshop
- @Joe to talk with Bhargava about helping
- @Stefan to help with testing as well
