Where do defaults come from?

When the hub admin sees the UI, they should know what the current values are so they can decide whether it should be changed or not. However, this doesn't work when the default values are not being set in the configurator, but elsewhere - in the z2jh config.yaml for example. The configurator doesn't know what the default image is, nor default interface, so can't show that to the hub admin.

One way to deal with this is to set default config for things like this always in the configurator schema, rather than in a z2jh config.yaml. This probably is the way to go.

So, you are proposing some sort of "base" config schema containing those defaults that other schema living here could inherit somehow?
