This workflow should be kept. We should be able to see wrapper validation failures on the GH checks summary instead of needing to dig into the matrix job outputs.

That doesn't provide protection from executing the wrapper when it fails.
I've only see a false positive from the wrapper validation a few times over a few years, so I'm not sure making it easier to see that it failed is that useful.
