New naming format

The naming of files now includes year information. For example, SJER_052 becomes SJER_052_2018.png

Benchmark Release - no empty files

Release 1.7.0 had a single empty file that caused an error when looping through the data. Removed.

Benchmark Release

The benchmark dataset contains over 6,000 image-annotated crowns, 424 field-annotated crowns, and 3,777 overstory stem points from a wide range of forest types. Image for field-crowns have been added since the previous release.

NeonTreeCrowns Release

This version of the dataset was used to validate the first NEON-wide predictions across 41 sites.

Zenodo Release

Identical to previous release, but triggering DOI from Zenodo.

DeepForest

This release coincides with the submission of the DeepForest software paper to methods in ecology and evolution.
