Android Animations is a demo application I have developed back in 2015 that allows Android users to
see different types (frame, tween and property) of animations using ObjectAnimator,
AnimationDrawable and AnimationUtils classes.
Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- You have installed the latest version of Android Studio
- You have created a Virtual Device using Device Manager or you have a Physical Device connected to your machine and ready for development (Run apps on a hardware device).
To install Android Animations, clone this repository with following command:
git clone git@github.com:vlmaier/android-animations.gitTo use Android Animations, follow these steps:
- Open the cloned repository with Android Studio
- Run
./gradlew build - Run the app (

To contribute to Android Animations, follow these steps:
- Fork this repository.
- Create a branch:
git checkout -b <branch_name>. - Make your changes and commit them:
git commit -m '<commit_message>' - Push to the original branch:
git push origin <branch_name> - Create a pull request.
