I was originally targeting master out of habit, but I figure this is a simple enough bugfix that can go on 4.x, so I cherry picked it over there instead. Note for master: in AssignmentAnalyzer.php
$array_var_idneeds changed to$extended_var_id. The only other conflicts should be added tests.
