Need to test auto closing of brackets, as well as generally adding more test cases.

better support for auto-closing brackets

Previously brackets wouldn't auto-close if quotes or other brackets
existed in between them. E.g. a JSON object with quoted properties, or
objects containing strings, objects, arrays etc.
