Thales is a Web application for managing metadata records about collections. It is an editor for metadata records about collections and related parties, activities and services - an information model based on ISO 2146. It makes the metadata records available in the Registry Interchange Format - Collections and Services (RIF-CS) format over an Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) feed.
Thales is a Web application. The installation guide describes how to install and operate the Web application. The administration guide describes how to operate the Web application after it has been installed. The user guide describes how to manage metadata records using the Web application.
