A quick-and-dirty UI for mid3v2 to add and/or edit MP3-ID3-Tags of a whole talking book or a complete music collection at once. There are many, many, really many things to do, but this toolbox is usable already. A caveat is that your data should fit into one of these fixed structures (to use the automatisms):
<DIR>--[SUBDIRs]--<FILEs: "Artist - Titel.mp3"> or
<DIR: Artist>--<SUBDIR: Album>--[SUBDIRs]--<FILEs: "Titel.mp3">
(Unless you do the namings by hand!)
The used environment is:
-
KUbuntu 16
-
Konsole
-
Firefox
-
bash
-
PHP 7.2.33
-
Python 3.5.2
-
Python-Mutagen
-
mid3v2 and mid3cp (part of Mutagen)
$ mid3v2 --version
mid3v2 1.3
Uses Mutagen 1.43.0
Some are prerequisites (like PHP, Python and Mutagen), others are interchangeable. For example, if you use Chromium instead of Firefox you must edit the automation shell scripts or do the start steps manually.
