Helper tokens

Helper tokens are little tokens that allow you to easily do some things (usually through buttons instead of underlying commands). Here's a list of these, when they appear and how they work.

If a helper token works with a ship, you have to pick it up and drop near a ship model to select a ship for it. It will then offer an "Unassign" option if you wanted to change which ship it works with.

1. Cloak token

Spawned: Never, can be taken at any time from the Cloak source on the table. Aside from indication that a ship is cloaked, it also serves the purpose of helping you decloak easily.

Usage: Click 'Decloak' to spawn possible directions buttons. Clicking any of there will perform a decloak (you will be notified if there was no space to complete it), click 'Back' to cancel. After performing a decloak move, 'Undo' button will undo it, 'Delete' button will ditch the token and 'Slide' button will allow for Base sliding like a dial does. This token will adjust decloak options if assigned to "Echo" pilot.

2. Bomb drop token

Spawned: Using Squad Builder (Doc: Squad Building), for each ship that has bomb upgrades. You can also grab a universal one at any time from an infinite source on the table (near bomb token sources).

Usage: Click 'Drop bomb', then button representing template you want to use. Options with 'r' at the end represent dropping using front guides of the ship.
Head to the middle of the table and grab a bomb token you want to use (next to the "Bomb drop tokens" source). Click numbers on mouseover to change its type to desired and drop it near where it would be dropped. It will snap to correct position and remove the template.

Addendum: To add more template drop options to its selection, write them in the token description separated by colons. This will be done automatically for you after building the squad, you should only do it if you then changed upgrades/pilots.

3. StarViper Mk.II roll token

Spawned: Using Squad Builder (Doc: Squad Building), for each ship that has StarViper Mk.II upgrade and using Item Browser with each StarViper Mk.II title upgrade.

Usage: Click 'Roll', then button representing roll direction you want. After you complete the roll, you can use the 'Slide' button to do Base sliding like you would with a dial. Click 'Undo' to undo the move. Remember there are two slides available (two directions to slide in, just click 'Slide' again after sliding once)!
