Component previews on dark mode don't switch

Describe the bug

When dark mode is enabled globally the component previews are still light mode. I think that this worked beforehand so I believe something broke in the meantime.

Reproduction

I click on the switch to dark mode on the main navbar and then the layout switches correctly, but the component previews are still light -> they should also change.
