Celerity

The Blazing-Fast File Manager for Windows, Written in Rust

Celerity is a lightning-fast, modern file manager built for Windows. With an emphasis on performance and simplicity, it leverages Rust’s safety and speed features to help you navigate and manage your files with ease.

Installation

Download

Download the latest installer from the Releases page.


Usage

Once installed, you can launch Celerity from:

  • The desktop shortcut (if created during installation).
  • Searching for Celerity in the Windows Start Menu.
  • A terminal window by typing celerity.

By default, Celerity opens your home directory. Use the file pane or keyboard shortcuts to navigate and manage files.

  • Search & Indexing: Refine and expand instant file searches with advanced filters.
  • Improved UI/UX: Context menus, theme customization, and personalized layouts.
  • Cross-Platform Support: Linux and macOS versions (long-term goal).
