News Web Easy Enhanced

A chrome extension that provides configurations for an enhanced experience while reading articles from NHK's NEWS WEB EASY site.

Usage

Clicking on the extension icon from the Extensions tab in your browser will give you access to the following configuration options, all set by default:

Disable furigana

Extension will automatically remove furigana from the article text.

Disable coloring

Extension will automatically disable word coloring from the article text.

Enable sticky dictionary

Extension will replace the word dictionary popup with a "sticky" popup version that closes by demand only.

Installing the extension

1. Clone this repository
2. Navigate to the Extensions page in your browser by entering chrome://extensions in a new tab
3. Enable Developer mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode
4. Click the Load unpacked button and select the extension directory
5. Head to News Web Easy and have fun!
