Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Short Layer time cooling approximate seconds is an integer:
image

Describe the solution you'd like
For me I require it to be about 0.4s but as it is an integer I can only set 1s which does not work for my setup.

Describe how it would work
same implementation just as float instead of integer
This was like this in Version 2.3.57.11

why?

you have a printer that can't stand more than half a second on a layer?
what kind of printer is that?

Ratrig v-core 3 with a 7530 fan and a mosquito magnum and bondtech lgx. I can cool the layers easily to support under 1 second layer height on a 0.4mm nozzel going at 200mm/s. currently my filament is limiting me from going faster than 220mm/s but the printer can easily do 300-400mm/s. The slice engineering hotend can easily do 50mm³/s. Fan is also only running at 70% as it would cool the nozzle so much that I would need to raise the print temperature by 30°C to counter the cooling of the fan.

The travel speed can easily do 1000mm/s and 2000mm/s with the new 48V drivers

@supermerill supermerill added enhancement easy fixed for the next version That means that you should be able to test it in the latest nightly build and removed not convinced yet labels Mar 24, 2022
