Iroh has decided to archive its implementation as a new project named Beetle: https://github.com/n0-computer/beetle. There is a related blog post explaining this move here: https://www.n0.computer/blog/a-new-direction-for-iroh/
We previously took a dependency on
iroh-car, but its source has been moved to the Beetle project and its future is now uncertain. The CAR format is very important to the future of Noosphere (with relevant mentions as early as #2), so it's possible that anoosphere-carcrate was inevitable. Regardless, this change forksiroh-caras the basis for a newnoosphere-carcrate. The new crate has been enhanced so that its tests run and pass when compiled to Wasm and invoked in a web browser.
